Essentials for Gorilla Tracking
This is what you need to enjoy the most strenuous but amazing gorilla tracking experience.
- Light rain jacket, Light and waterproof hiking or walking boots with a thick pair of socks.
- Binoculars and high speed film 400 ASA minimum, 800 ASA recommended but no flash photography allowed.
- Put on gloves, long-sleeved shirt and pants or jeans to protect your body when you grip vegetation.
- Carry sun glasses and sun hat or waterproof squash-able hat.
- Thick sweaters are not necessary on the track, as it gets very hot during tracking. It is best to have layers of clothing as temperatures tend to change.
- Drinking / bottled water.
